Founded in March of 2000, Bantix is a Chicago-based software development firm specializing in the design and delivery of business critical software applications. The Bantix principals and professionals have years of experience developing large-scale, mission critical business software for a varied group of industries. Bantix is a "Microsoft Shop" meaning the architects and developers utilize Microsoft technologies to deliver their customers' PC-based solutions (for both client and server machines).
Bantix' initial, full-time business development effort started in 2003. The principals were tasked with creating the architecture for an internal underwriting application for an insurance startup. Using the latest Microsoft tools, industry best practices and custom control libraries as the foundation for development, Bantix delivered a solid, extensible application framework providing the foundation for all initial business needs as well as the required flexibility to add applications, or application extensions for the current system components, without reworking existing portions of the platform. Bantix principals, all formerly employed in the insurance sector, continue to provide solutions in this industry.
Since its inception, Bantix has successfully engaged with over 100 different clients. Bantix also provides development for its own, in-house product - QuikStrike, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) interest rate options pricing tool used by brokerage houses across the globe. QuikStrike provides brokers and their clients with an easy to use web-based tool where brokers can control information flow about pricing, market activity and trade ideas to their customer base.
